Overview of Buchholz Indentation Tester:
BEVS Buchholz indentation tester can be used to evaluate indentation resistance of plastic deformable coatings. It is placed onto the specimen surface under a constant test load 1.1lbs (500g) provided by a block tester. The tester is then moved after 30 seconds and checked for traces left which is measured via a 20x magnification illuminated microscope. The result is indicated by measuring the length of the indentation mark.
